Brad Pitt talks about how he likes to kill people slowly and how you are on your own if you live in America. He is a calmly assassin, planed, moderation and guttural in “Killing Them Softly”, Andrew Dominik’s film which was wrote right before as “Cogan’s Trade”. The first trailer for the film was released, along with the official poster – a minimalist picture, stylized and suggestive.
The best trailer reveals that, from my view, is that we find the soundtrack music of Johnny Cash. Famous musicians in the film are a sort of ballad to gangsters. “Killing Them Softly” reveals in the few minutes of promotional material that will be an intense and tense story about life in the ranks and ranks among the intricate and dirty mafia. Came from the director who made “The Assassination of Jesse James”,” Killing Them Softly” was greeted with enthusiasm and warmth this year at Cannes, which had its world premiere. In U.S. theaters, the film is released on 19 October.
The synopsis says: Three wise simpletons who think robbing participants in a poker game protected by mahi and cause a collapse of the local economy supported by crime. Brad Pitt is the man in charge of keeping the rules of the game imposed by the Mafia and he will have to trace the three folks and restore order in town. The film also stars Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray crowd, Ben Mendelsohn. The screenplay was adapted by director Andrew Dominik from the novel “Cogan’s Trade” written by George V. Higgins.
Brad Pitt is listed among filmmakers. Certainly it will restore confidence in his abilities after failure was with the “World War Z”. Intensity of the atmosphere and tension created, “Killing Me Softly” has been compared to “Drive” last year with Ryan Gosling.
