If you are more attracted to anti-romatic comedies, in the style of Amelie or (500) Days of Summer, A Many Splintered Thing then is a project that you can look forward to.
Chris Evans, which recently saw him in the role of Captain America in The Avengers and Michelle Monaghan, who died a dozen times in the movie Source Code, will be the protagonists of this new project about an unconventional love story.
A Many Splintered Thing will play centers on a young man affected by former love, who falls for a rich woman while posing as great philanthropist organized a charity dinner. Even if you are that young is engaged, the lover will not stop here, but will mimic platonic friendship, just to be closer to her.
According to Deadline, the film directed by Justin Reardon will go into production on October 26 and will mark the first time Evans works as executive producer. The screenplay is by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair and was included in 2011 on the Black List of the best scenarios unproduced.
Until this comedy will hit the big screen, we will see Evans in the drama The Iceman based on the true story of murderer Richard Kuklinsky and Snowpiercer, SF action film about a group of travelers stranded in a train, in a world covered with ice and snow.
