Johnny Lewis, the actor who for two seasons has played the role of Kip Half-Sack Epps in the series Sons of Anarchy, was found dead Wednesday morning on the sidewalk in front of the house where he lived. His death is even more suspect because, in the home was found the body of a woman aged 81, who was identified as the owner, Catherine Davis.
After the initial investigation, authorities suspected that the young man of 28 years killed the old woman after he fell or jumped from the roof. According to TMZ, after hard the screams of the old woman, neighbors called the police. Meanwhile, Lewis went outside where he trained in a fight with two other men. Witnesses of incident indicated that are big chances that Johnny to be under the influence of drugs – methadone or PCP, with abnormal behavior and hitting his men mercilessly with a board.
The actor was released from prison with six days before this tragic incident and was previously hospitalized in rehabilitation centers. In addition of Sons of Anarchy, Johnny Lewis also made appearances in series like Bones, The O.C., Criminal Minds and Cold Case. On a personal level, he was involved in a relationship with the singer Katy Perry, several years ago.
Katy, Kurt Sutter, creator of Sons of Anarchy and many others who have common understanding of the actor expressed their regret at the loss of the young. “I’m not sure if you heard or not, but Johnny Lewis (Half Sack) died last night. It was a tragic end to a very talented boy, who unfortunately took her astray. I would like to say that I was shocked by the events, but I was not. I am very sorry that so innocent life was thrown into such a destructive plan”, posted Sutter on his WhoSay account.
