Tim Robbins, actor Oscar winner, with some experience in film directing, will pass both behind the camera and in front of them, you will direct and play the Man Under a new independent drama film made in the style of American Beauty and The Royal Tennenbaums.
According to Variety, Robbins will be one of the protagonists of the film which tells the story of a family in Yonkers, whose life changes completely when they get a picture displayed at the Museum of Modern Art. Drama script is signed by Ann Cherkis, in whose filmography remember her contribution as a writer of the movie The Secret, with David Duchovny and [rxLili Taylor].
After taking a break of almost three years, immediately after the release of City of Ember, Robbins returned to the big screen in 2011, when he played Senator Hammond in Green Lantern. This year-old actor worked 54 years at 2 other new projects – Thank you for sharing and Back to 1942. In the drama Man Under, Robbins will play with mother daughter duo from the movie Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows – Michelle Pfeifer and Chloe Moretz.
