American McGee … a name that echoes in my head whenever it is pronounced or remembered. For me, this man managed to leave its mark on my maturation as a gamer. Games such as Scrapland and Alice are on the same stage with games created by Tim Sheffer.
There are several developers that I love them a lot, two of them I mentioned earlier. In the last article I presented a game that had a lot of years to reach on the shelves. Well now we have another one that I had not waited 12 years, but during the announcing of it woke up a deep nostalgia… Alice Madnes Returns. The first was a more sinister imaginary of the universe Alice in Wonderland, in which a kitchen knife called Vorpal Blade was unusual. American McGee Alice, in his time, was something extraordinary.
Sure there were a game like Dungeon Keeper, with his dictum Evil is Good, but nothing prepared the market like this game. The game’s atmosphere included you without to realize. For me was extremely hard on my time to get up from the computer because I wanted to see what happens. Even so, had his flaws.
Platforming was somewhat odd in some moments, and targeting system is not so good. Well, time passed and behold, after 12 years came a second part of this game loved by me. A new graphics, new physics engine, something more creative, especially with a more detailed background story.
