Bastion – Vivid graphics, highly saturated with anime influences

The narrative motivation is based on a morbid premise beneath the RPG’s of the Blizzard. In short, a disaster has eradicated an entire universe around the feet of the nameless protagonist, leaving only in a piece of land that was his home and sleeping on a mattress.

Soon though, the pieces that he need to step backwater flow from the depths of blurred and initially armed only with a hammer that is with three times bigger than the character and semi-automatic weapon fire fang (Fang Repeater) must eradicate some tadpoles from a blue light before to designate a central goal of the whole adventure: to build the settlement Bastion, the last bastion, the game (in this case was not clear the link between title and content).

The weapons are also quite numerous, though none bring something unprecedented: a machete, a bow, a rifle, a musket, a rocket launcher, a primitive flamethrower, two guns and a mortar cannon. Which is added a set of skills (some related to certain weapons) Black Tonic consuming one per use (from a maximum of 3 or 5, depending on what potions you use).

As a welcome addition to any game in which, sooner or later, not much of where you give back to the falling away from any secure, and a gift that not only shield block, but can and punish any attack if used just before contact. The use of these weapons can be exercised in special places, challenges where you can take one of three prizes, depending on the result.

Some challenges involve the destruction of a fixed number of targets in a given time, others going through a set of bridges that are crumbling and annihilation of a large number of opponents before being caught by the collapse or eliminate all possible targets of a number lower shots. Otherwise, the journey from one level to another takes place through a map, and choose any level is achieved by using ejection protagonist platforms.
