The release of the newest Call of Duty was just a few days ago, on October 25, 2011. Many gamers were eagerly awaiting this game, and critics expected it to be ‘epic’. Electronic Arts, the publisher, was expected to display a masterful combination of graphics, impressive multiplayer features, realistic battle experience, and much more. Now that gamers have had a chance to play the game for a few days lets see what they think about the game and we will rate it on a five star rating system.
Multiplayer Features
The multiplayer features are excellent. It truly makes the game fantastic and it is a lot more advanced than the previous game. Big team battles and the maps are truly phenomenal. The maps are epic and the online battles show off Electronic Arts skills in bringing forth fantastic maps that show their attention to detail.
Single Player Game
Here is where the game lacks. While the multiplayer features are great the single player campaign mode is somewhat lifeless and dull. This is the one downside of the game, however the rest of the features of Battlefield 3 make up for this.
Graphics
Graphics are breath taking. You really feel as if you are in the battle and all of the details are crisp and lifelike.
Weapons and Vehicles
This version of Battlefield 3 does an excellent job of increasing the weapon and vehicle options for players. You get ten new weapons in this game than you had in the previous games, and you also get three new vehicles to drive about on. These features add a lot to the game and experimenting with the various new weapons will keep you entertained for hours.
Overall
Despite the rather lacking single player campaign, the rest of the features and advances of this game really make up for it. You’ll definitely enjoy the multiplayer features as they are the focal point in this shooter game.
