With the release of the Kinect for the Xbox 360 everyone knew that this was something different. Games that you so desperately wished you could be in were created to make you feel like you were actually the main character! Instead of playing behind some controller you now are the controller with the Kinect.
As the Kinect became incredibly successful more and more games have been developed to incorporate this motion technology for gamers. Fable: The Journey, is one of those games. While it has not been released yet, it is set to release sometime mid to late next year and will be an enthralling experience for gamers.
With the Kinect now involved you can play the role of the hero in this first person shooter game. Now, you can craft spells with your very own hands by using specific gestures and you can fish, use telescopes, and so much more!
So what is the story behind this new and upcoming Fable game?
Unfortunately it was announced in the E3 Expo for 2011 but they did not give fans much to go on. Basically you have your constant figure, Theresa, who has been throughout the series since the very first game, and you have Albion as well. In Fable: The Journey, Theresa finds a Dweller and the two journey to the Spire to try and escape something called The Corruption.
So what about heroes? In this game apparently the main character doesn’t have any hero blood in him, you are simply a normal person. While some fans were disappointed at this revelation it is important to note that the creators say that this game is separate from the previous Fable games.
The official trailer for Fable: The Journey can be seen below and you catch a glimpse of The Corruption as it is attempting to capture Theresa.
