On GameSpot Forums emerged new details about Grand Theft Auto V, from a former employee of Rockstar Games. Meanwhile, the post was deleted, but thanks to Google Cache, its contents could be saved. However, not 100% trust in what is read, there is a risk, as in other cases such rumors, the information given is incorrect.
First, those who do not want to spoil the pleasure of being surprised by the story of GTA V and want to experience the game on their own should stop here. Despite other rumors appeared, it seems that the new GTA will have only one playable character – Albert De Silva, the type of early youth passed of the first official trailer of the game, was a member of a mafia clan in Vice City. Meanwhile, De Silva decided to settle in Los Santos, where he married and had a child. Kevin De Silva, the son of Albert, is likely to be “a real player Call of Duty”, a gamer, and a lazy child who prefer to lose the day playing online shooters. Despite its shortcomings, Kevin seems to have very much respected his father.
The multiplayer GTA V will support as many as 32 players, as in the console versions (PS3 and Xbox 360) of the game. As in Red Dead Redemption, players will be organized in gangs, which will be evaluated on reputation. Members of these gangs will deal with various cooperative missions (such as robbing a store, retrieve weapons from a top-secret military base, etc.), and the gang leader will have a much greater discretion (may appoint members who must meet a certain objective, can offer members graduations, etc.). These gangs will be able to establish and “areas of influence”, but only in the city of Los Santos.
Moreover, the map of GTA V is likely to be over four times higher than that of Grand Theft Auto IV, Los Santos will occupy almost half of it. To cross it, players will now lead aircraft from models that survived from the Second World War and up to private aircraft.
Both guns and cars in GTA V will be customized to some extent. Arms can be mounted accessories (such as a damper for gun) and different car upgrades (such as NOS). Moreover, it seems that shootouts will be more realistic in GTA V, especially when trying to decent aim through the window of a moving car.
We have to do with six levels of alert forces, with a risk that police now seek protagonist with type Flashbang grenades or storm shields. Also, when you overcome the fourth level of alert to police stations in the game will begin to issue warnings about the player’s character, not least, GTA V will deliver radio traffic reports, which detail the circumstances of the streets of Los Santos. This information can be consulted via mobile phone and watch TV, much more numerous as in GTA IV.
