The game throws you into the action without knowing what is happening, without knowing any character (possibly the most obvious, the man behind Iron Man), not explain you where it all started. You have a suit of metal that looks vaguely like that of true Iron Man, a flamethrower and many enemies to kill. Killing enemies with your flamethrower can not be called murder. Basically we have something light, we assume that is fire and that when it touches an enemy flashes like the red Christmas lights, and will fall down in a terrible animation.
I deviated a bit from the subject story, to return: you are an ordinary man who finds a powerful metal suit, later you find that you are working at a company that deals with the production of weapons and do not know what why you started to build a metal suit. Your partner betrays you at the end of the game and you should eliminate it, this after in the whole game you were attacked by unknown things armed.
The suit is equipped with a flamethrower at first, we know later that we have lasers in hands and a super-laser on chest. The combat is the extremely repetitive and boring, all comes to the point&click, easier and auto-aim. Auto-aim makes the whole thing for us, still having to click through time to time on the armies of enemies that appear out of nowhere. Besides weapons, we can dive in the air at high speed, producing a shock wave impact. This method is useless, it is difficult to execute and nearly impossible to hit enemies with it.
In conclusion, if you have not seen the movie, the game’s story is simply nonexistent in theory, not having a beginning and with no clear reasons for actions that happen. Marvel fans or comic-sized Iron Man will not find anything familiar in the game besides the main character, which actually controls a truck. Besides jerky animations and inexpressive of your character (and enemies), the tin man is hard to control, especially in the “Afterburner” mode, mode were we can fly at high speed using the thrusters from the legs and hands.
