Saints Row The Third is an open world action game that was released on November 18, 2011. It was developed by Volition, Inc. and was published by the famous THQ.While many may look at the game and see something eerily similar to Grand Theft Auto, those who play it know that while it maintains the ‘open world shoot em up and do what you want’ motif, it still has its own unique flair which makes it well worth playing.

The game is the third release in the Saints Row video game series and has been a commercial success. With it being available across a variety of platforms (Microsoft Windows, PS3, Xbox 360, and even OnLive), the game has scored high ratings from critics all across the board. Find out how we review the game here!

Storyline

The storyline follows you as you take your gang to new heights. In the previous games the Saints had gained control over Stillwater and became a commercial success after merging with a corporation and promoting their own brand of products. Unfortunately all of that attention caught the eye of the international crime organization known as The Syndicate and they try to force the Saints to give them a massive cut of their profits.

Side Quests

While the main storyline only takes about 10-12hrs to beat, there are many side quests that will keep you occupied for much longer. With the random and quirky sense of humor seen throughout the game you can expect just as many random side quests awaiting you for when you complete the main storyline.

Graphics

The graphics are fairly decent on the game. With some hilarious additions to the game it is surprising how realistic the developers made the game appear especially with the explosions, flights, overall city view, and even the trees.

Guns and Cars

Here is the best part of the game. With outrageous guns and even more outrageous cars, you can thoroughly pimp your character out with these accessories. Some cars appear as giant Afro headed men that blow flames out of their mouths, and other cars are highly customizable sports cars.
