Splinter Cell: Blacklist was one of the most surprising new titles announced at E3 2012. The game made its debut in the Microsoft press conference, new trailers are presented later in the event organized by Ubisoft. Behold that now Splinter Cell: Blacklist is in the foreground with a new set of images from the game of Ubisoft Toronto.
Blacklist marks the return of Sam Fisher, this time in a formula that tries to combine the most successful elements of previous titles in the series. From Splinter Cell: Conviction has been kept Mark and Execute game mechanics, while the look and some of Sam’s movements seem to be extracted directly from the first Splinter Cell game.
Unfortunately, Splinter Cell: Blacklist is likely to be the first title of the series in which will be absent Michael Ironside (the voice of Sam Fisher). Even so, the game promises explosive single player campaign, multiplayer and cooperative modes and competitive return (Spies vs. Mercenaries). Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be launched next spring, for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Xbox 360 version will have support for Kinect.
