Plot:

This game takes place just five years after the first Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. You are an exiled Jedi Knight who was kicked from the order. While the game intends for you to be a female, you have the option of choosing whichever gender you prefer. There are some minor consequences to your gender, however; whether you choose a male or female main character, you will get an ally later in the game that is the opposite gender.

So, after you customize your character and complete the short tutorial with the droid, you finally get to start moving about with your ex-Jedi. You originally start off in a kolto tank because your ship was under fire. However when you get out and explore the ship you realize that something went terribly wrong.

You meet up with an old woman, who is a lot more than she seems, and she will guide you on your journey through the force so that you not only regain your powers, but you can either destroy or aide the republic.

Characters:

Like in the first game, this second one has several supporting characters that have unique histories and you can even go on quests to explore more about them. A more unique feature in this game is that your specific actions will influence how much a supporting character likes you. The more they like you the more in tune they will be with you (following you to the light or dark side of the force).

Music:

The music is a little more prominent in this game and it sets a nice undertone for the current situations. However music is never a main feature of the game of course.

Graphics:

This game has excellent graphics for when it was produced. The characters are more human like and you see a lot more detail in the surrounding areas. Definitely a major improvement and it adds a lot to the game as you go about exploring unique worlds.

Overall:

Overall this game remains one of my favorites. It’s got a stunning plot that has a unique twist that you don’t expect. Definitely recommend this game to anyone, even if you aren’t a Star Wars fan.
