12 people have died at the premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises”

12 people were shot and died and 50 were wounded in a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises in the Aurora town from Colorado. The smallest victim of this attack was a child of three months. According to Associated Press, the incident happened on the night of Thursday to Friday at a cinema Century 16 when an armed man wearing a gas mask started the fire in cinema and opened fire on people present in the room.

Witnesses said that the man entered in the room after about 30 minutes after the start of the projection and threw teargas canisters, then opened the fire. I thought it was a marketing strategy for one second, but then released tear gas around the room. Once the gas released, I felt that something very bad is about to happen and soon after began to shot in public, said one of moviegoers that escaped safely from this tragic incident.

The killer, James Holmes, a young of 24 years from Aurora, was arrested, and according to local police chief, there is no evidence that he had accomplices. He had in possession had a shotgun and a pistol when he was captured in cinema parking, and told police that he placed a bomb in the cinema.

The police has arrived in the shortest time at tragedy, after the movie people have given dozens of calls to 911. They secured the area, evicted all and found a young explosive device placed in the cinema. Investigators interrogate the friends and loved ones of the suspect, to form an idea about his background and find out what led to arise from an act so extreme.
