12 people were shot and died and 50 were wounded in a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises in the Aurora town from Colorado. The smallest victim of this attack was a child of three months. According to Associated Press, the incident happened on the night of Thursday to Friday at a cinema Century 16 when an armed man wearing a gas mask started the fire in cinema and opened fire on people present in the room.
Witnesses said that the man entered in the room after about 30 minutes after the start of the projection and threw teargas canisters, then opened the fire.
