Ben Affleck is targeted for “Justice League” rival of “The Avengers”

After Christopher Nolan is out of Justice League’s direction, Warner Bros. turned their attention to another talented director – Ben Affleck, which hopes to discuss the project in days ahead.

The success with The Town, movie in which Affleck served both as director and as a key actor, Gibson won the trust of studio and is now referred to one of the most anticipated projects. So now Ben is the only candidate who has received the Justice League script signed by Will Beall.

DC Comics, the company that owns the rights to comic book heroes like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman or Nite Owl, declares war to blockbuster Avengers product’s main rival – MARVEL, and hiring of Afleck in team would mean that it will receive a role in the film (the actor is only interested in directing films in which he plays). The actor was also hit by an experience involving superheroes in comics from 2003 when he played in the movie Daredevil with the same name.

Representatives of DC Comics and Warner Bros. currently refused to comment on this news, and a possible reluctance on the part of Ben Affleck might be that, once attached to the project will not have time to direct the films for at least several years.
