In July 2011, Walt Disney Pictures studio has partnered with the production company Infinitum Nihil of Christi Dembrowski and Johnny Depp to make a biographical drama about the silversmith Paul Revere, who fought in the War of Independence of the United States and was a messenger in during the battles of Lexington and Concord, and a reboot of the TV series “Kolchak: the Night Stalker”, which ran on ABC between 1974 – 1975 and had starring Darren McGavin.
First that will be introduced during the production of the two aforementioned projects is “The Night Stalker”, Johnny Depp intends to enter in the skin of the investigative reporter Carl Kolchak, which is committed to a tabloid and solves crimes bizarre and mysterious, which are sometimes committed monstrous creatures of darkness and vampires, werewolves and undead which he thinks would be linked to the murder of his wife.
