After has worked with Michael Bay at Pain and Gain, Mark Wahlberg is reunited with ambitious director who has just offered a role in Transformers 4. Bay, the director of other films in the series, will picturize new project from a screenplay written by Ehren Krueger. Twitch Film reporters were the first to have smelled Wahlberg’s involvement in the project, claiming that the star was taking part in the viewfinder.
The confirmation camed yesterday, November 8, all the way from Michael Bay, who wrote on his blog about Mark’s distribution. Last appearance on the big screen comedy actor was forbidden to minors TED, which was put face to face with a naughty teddy bear. But now Mark will face unearthly giant robots and fight to save humanity.
Michael Bay wrote that he liked very much to work with Wahlberg in Pain and Gain, a film about two bodybuilders, so he booked a role in Transformers 4: Mark is amazing. An actor of his caliber is perfect for reviving and continuing the legacy of Transformers franchise.
The protagonist of the first three films in the series, Shia LaBeouf said in previous interviews that many will not play the role of Sam Witwicky in the following projects. Mark’s distribution could mean that the franchise has a new protagonist, but we are not sure yet, because not know details about the role it will play Wahlberg. Transformers 4 will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Ian Bryce Tom DeSanto and and Paramount will release it in theaters on June 27, 2014.
