Have been passed 4 and half years since director Brian De Palma has not released a film, therefore thriller with sexual connotations “Passion” is eagerly awaited by critics and fans in the year 2013, distribution rights will be sold at Cannes Film Festival.

Starring Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper and Paul Anderson, “Passion” is an English language remake of French psychological thriller “Crime d’amour” from 2010 directed by Alain Corneau, filming taking place in Berlin, under the French production company SBS Productions.

Compared with “Dressed to Kill” from 1980 and “Basic Instinct” from 1992, “Passion” combines eroticism, suspense, mystery and murder in one movie experience, Swedish Noomi Rapace stating that scenario also signed by Brian De Palma is very good, according to The Playlist.

Issue revolves around two women career, Isabelle (Noomi Rapace) and Christine (Rachel McAdams) who are engaged to a multinational corporation and successfully face the harsh world of high stakes business. Christine is an Executive Director who has no shortage of natural elegance, but is manipulative, sarcastic, ruthless and evil, having a healthy relationship as possible with money and power.

Her protected, Isabelle is naive, innocent, adorable and easy to operate, a frankly admiring Christine and sharing it with all the brilliant business ideas which come to mind. Obviously that the versed Christine face no moral dilemma when she steals Isabella ideas and presents as her, especially that part of the same team.

Christina likes to have control over his protégé, luring this one in a game of seduction, but dominating and humiliating her repeatedly. When Isabelle gets in bed with one of Christine’s lovers, the two women breaks a fatal conflict, from here to the completion of a crime but only a step.
