Solarstone feat. Bill McGruddy – Electric Love

Anyone who has had contact with the world smallest trance music is very likely to be heard at least a piece from repertoire of Solarstone. Initially a group with Richard Mowatt, Sam Tierney and Andrew Bury, Solarstone today means only Rich. Over a career of 16 years, members of Solarstone, Young Parisians, Z2 or Skyscraper have constantly demonstrated that their music is unquestionable quality; it is synonymous with melody and expressiveness.

For this, the already classic pieces testify, such as The Calling, Seven Cities, Solarcoaster, Speak In Sympathy, Release, Destination, Day By Day, Like A Waterfall, Late Summer Fields, to name just a few! 2-3 years from now, Rich delighted us with the fabulous Rain Stars Eternal album, Electronic Architecture and RSEmix. Since 2008, Rich has Solaris Recordings label and hold weekly Solaris International radio show. The newest EP Solarstone, with the number 44 at Solaris Recordings called ‘Electric Love’ and is collaboration with Bill McGruddy on vocals. Let’s see where it stands in relation to previous releases:

Solarstone feat. Bill McGruddy – Electric Love (Original Club Mix)

For this release, Rich came up with a new sound, as original and developed. Has recently adopted this style and is at the second appearance after the remix done for classical Tenth Planet – Ghosts. The bassline’s very smooth, with influences from electro, sustained of original stabs, with subtle instrumentation, establish a special atmosphere. Bill’s McGruddy voice it quickly makes its appearance, with beneficial effects. Clearly, even if is not on everyone’s taste, flavor adds vocal timbre rhythm. Since we are talking about Solarstone, the melody is mandatory and usually fantastic. This time we breakdown the various elements excellent melodic, acoustic piano of which I remember.

Solarstone feat. Bill McGruddy – Electric Love (John 00 Fleming & The Digital Blonde Mix 00db)

“00″ from J00F + “db” from The Digital Blonde form 00.db, a collaboration between two old friends, John Fleming and Ricky Smith. Both have built careers that stretch over many years, but formed a team, in terms of production, “only” in 2004. In 2009, they released an album under the pseudonym, psy-trance-influenced ‘Heaven & Hell’, from which I remember excellent ‘Worlds Of Space’. The melodic line was largely sacrificed and originality is sublime, but is completely missing! Expect more from those two, because I saw that way!
