Bayern Munich ended the black series that had on over two years and a half games with Borussia Dortmund, winning the match with 2-1 and winning German Supercup trophy. Mandzukic scored his first goal in the Bavarian shirt (’6), Thomas Muller scored (’11), and Lewandowski reduced the difference to the team coached by Jurgen Klopp (’75).
Bavarians had not won in front of Dortmund from February 2010 and had reached five consecutive defeats against “yellow-black”. Determined in the match started Sunday night and after just over 10 minutes led with 2-0. The first time it belonged to his students Jupp Heynckes, who literally playing “home” were motivated to get over of “Dortmund complex”. However, in the last half hour found themselves under pressure of Borussia, which, judging by their opportunities, would have deserved a draw. They scored once, by Lewandowski, but was insufficient to keep the rule in German football.
