Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta, stressed that national European and world champion has not lost the desire to win trophies. Vicente del Bosque‘s men are generally considered to be the favorite to win the European Championship 2012, but along the journey so far in Poland and Ukraine have proved effective in the same game which were imposed after the previous edition:
“It is true that there is less desire to win from the previous participations, is a state that is never lost” – said Iniesta in an interview for Deportes Cuatro – “We are very eager to win the Euro and to write another history.” World Champion has been criticized by Spanish press due of evolution of the match won with 1-0 against Croatia, but Iniesta does not think the team performance was below expectations:

When a national team evolves over time at a high level and win trophies expectations are very high, but fans should have confidence in this team is not correct to say that not playing as well as we did in Championship World.
