We met with them everywhere: at the circus, the party animals, amusement parks, on the street… with balloons in hand and always smiling, the clowns always attract the attention. For most people, the term of clown is associated with the circus, with joy or childhood. On the other hand, however, for those of us who suffer from coulrofobie (fear of clowns), viewing such a character can have serious consequences. With a hidden personality, literally, in clothes colored paints that painted their faces, clowns were always regarded as highly mysterious beings.
10. The Last Circus
The director Alex de la Iglesia puts action of the movies in the middle of the Spanish Civil War. A Merry Clown from the circus is recruited by the police even during a presentation. Still wearing circus clothes, he starts to fight rebels and armed with a machete, manages to kill an entire platoon. His son, who wants to be like him in terms of career, realizes that he saw too many horrors to still be happy and becomes the sad clown.

07. S.I.C.K. Serial Insane Clown Killer
Four friends start in what they want to be a crazy escapade, a weekend full of sex and drugs, to a cabin in the woods. Before reaching their destination, they encounter along the way a girl who was beaten by boy hitchhiking and decided to take it with them. In the evening, the five flames gather and begin to amuse him on ghost stories, during which a man kidnaps her clown mask, one by one.

Driven by desire for revenge, a boy named Michael is secretly involved in black magic and tries to give life to a puppet that he called Killjoy. But for now, spell turns out to be a failure. With years ago, one young mother was killed in that building and the girl who is terrorized by scenes come to mind about the murder. Teen decides to get involved in renovating the building, encouraged by a friend who says that it can be a way to defeat their fears. During a presentation, a spotlight falls and almost hits a person. The next day, the same person is brutally murdered by a man dressed as a clown, which proves to be the same that killed the mother of the teenage.

Adaptation of the novel with the same name by Stephen King, “It” is one of the most popular movies with scary clowns. The action takes place on two levels: first is the story of the seven main characters, and then the story continues, but after 27 years and the characters grow up. Like the novel, the movie focuses on the lives of seven characters. At every 27 years, Derry town is terrorized by a monster came from space, which can take almost any form that kills people, and each time his attacks ends with real massacres.
