We try to capture the beautiful moments of our lives, some for us and our loved ones, others meant to be shared to world. With the though at the pictures, we selected 10 movies from films and documentaries related to “painting with light”, photographers and related equipment with which memories get a physical form.
Bradley Cooper and Julia Roberts are two of the actors who starred as photographs in movies. We have not included Stanley Kubrick who brought old job as a photographer and his films, we will enter in the world of Amelie and we do some photos in an European vacation in which Matt Damon sing beautiful “Scotty doesn’t know”. As always please you and to contribute to the completion of the proposed film, this time about the photo.
10. Bill Cunningham New York
The film enters in the daily life of New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham, and shows how his device capture everyday clothing trends in the middle of ordinary people, and the stars, in constant search of beauty. As very famous Anna Wintour says, “we all dress for Bill”.
09. The Midnight Meat Train
In The Midnight Meat Train there are enough ingredients for a modest movie, but is good to be watched when you want to have part of something exciting: a criminal series, a camera and Bradley Cooper as a photographer. A horror fantasy with an ultra topic of the existence of something that you did not see in a movie but you will see what happens to those who get as food on their tables. Effects of grade A for a horror with successful interpretations.
08. Blow-Up
Thomas usually shoots models, strictly and professionally, but his device does not stop at fashion. Reality takes him further and involuntary is witness in a tangled story, shrouded in mystery with a crime that only if he know the camera. Thomas is a very talented photographer, but without any aim in life. He shoots violent and painful scenes, but without feeling something or to get involved in any way. Speaking of photos, then we will include on those made on holiday and not just in any holiday but one full of fun and adventures in EuroTrip. Jamie has a friend, Leica the camera, which will help during the trip to catch all the crazy stuff that goes with friends and Scott’s dream come true to meet the possible great love.
06. A Lot Like Love
Romance in A Lot Like Love is crazy, with many ups and downs. Photographer Emily and the entrepreneur Oliver attract like magnets and try to capture much of the original moments spent together. It all started with a roll of film and camera Oliver received for Christmas.
05. City of God
City of God is a movie of elections, a film in which the boundary between good and evil comes to be captured in images by means of a character that preferred to choose the way in which the gun was replaced with a camera. “Employers” of drug trade are those who judge and make decisions in personal or family problems, as in matters of public administration. We witnessed when Cidade de Deus mayor personally called drug baron at his headquarters, to ask permission to replace bulbs on a street to ask what time can send trucks hall there.
04. Everlasting Moments
The film is based on the true story of a woman a camera changed his entire life in nineteenth century society. He not only gave him a chance to find a source of income, especially the opportunity to discover and to “keep” moments of pleasant and less pleasant then.
