The special effects have ensured the success of many movies in which the actors’ performance and even the story left to be desired. The era of special effects from movies has exploded in recent years thanks to the new inventions from the shooting techniques area. In the past decade Hollywood has provided some of the best movies with special effects from history.
The criticism was especially brought for the trite and cliché scenario, typical for this kind of movies. 07. King Kong
Peter Jackson and his team managed through the remake of the movie from 1933, to bring everything that was lacked to the big screen in the first movie. Although it was an enormous achievement even for the ’30s, “King Kong” was revived in 2005 by famous director from “Lord of the Rings” series. It could not be otherwise than in a grand manner, but exciting in the same time. Jackson chose not to humanize the monkey, leaving it to show as much as possible like a wild animal. At the first meeting with that for which he will risk her life, Ann (Naomi Watts), King Kong, is worn as any wild animal would do it: hums and is aggressively trying to defend. The monkey fights scenes in which other animals are very spectacular and well created.

“District 9″ is one of the few science fiction movies nominated for Oscars in the category of best film of the year. In 2009, the movie of Neil Blomkamp was a revelation of the year. Wachowski brothers movie have amazed everyone, managing to combine groundbreaking special effects with a complex scenario for some almost incomprehensible. With every film made, special effects specialists offering a full show, demonstrating how advanced technology has come. Matrix Series has given us memorable scenes that have made history.
The universe imagined by J.R.R. Tolkien could not be represented well than Peter Jackson and his team succeeded. Launched a year away from each other, “Lord of the Rings” film series has managed to become the best films each year, the third Academy Award winning, but can be considered an award for the entire series.
