Top 10 Most Awesome Romantic Movies In Rain

We are still in the rainy season where the darkened sky, moisture and wind are not lacking. I was tired to take my umbrella everywhere, so I decided to warm with an inspirational top for this time.

I did not consider the disastrous and depressing rain, I thought only to the romantic rain, which may enhance the drama of situations, making us empathize with those stories. Having in mind Gery Halliwell’s song, “It’s Raining Men”, because the November Rain from “Gun N ‘Roses” would not be an exaggeration for this month, and only thinking at good things in life, I made the following top:

10. V for Vendetta

The romance of the original advance movie “V for Vendetta”, is special, because in it are involved a masked character “V”, which starts a revolution, urging citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression and a young woman, Natalie Portman , which becomes his ally. During the movie the heroine take part of a lot of danger, cruel treatment, realizing how much forms may have the hate and evil. The scene of her release from all fears coincide with a beautiful and purifying rain, in a moment that proves that anarchy and hatred can destroy, but only love can build something good.

09. First Knight

How do you proceed if you’re married to a king and you fall in love with one of his knights? Julia Ormond will try to remain faithful to King Arthur, but you have to spend much time around his knights. Plus, to be grateful to Richard Gere, who saved many dangerous situations. This part of First Knight is more dynamic and Gere knows how to take advantage of any situation, seducing us through much charisma and attitude.

08. Four Weddings and a Funeral

If the champagne is flowing in waves in this romantic comedy, the sparkling dialogue and humor are the ones that surprise you and get dizzy. “Four Weddings and a Funeral” is a romantic comedy about two people made for each other, which does not seem to be very determined to act. Thus Hugh Grant, a handsome gentleman, is determined to avoid any commitment and remain perennial best man, but never the groom. The destiny will bring him in the way of Andie MacDowell… and not once but four times and last time instead of champagne will get rain foams.

07. Dear John

“Dear John” is not a memorable film, but has two beautiful and sexy actors, much of romance, plus a few very successful scenes. The two protagonists are so well together that you can not you do not want to fall in love at first sight and feel those tingling will not let you sleep at night. One of the most intense scene with rain is that although predictable (like the whole movie in fact), is saved by the chemistry between two actors Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.

06. Breakfast at Tiffany’s

What can I say more about this classic romantic comedy “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, where I do not know who I love more, Audrey Hepburn or her eccentric and imaginative character. Between charming and impeccable, Audrey appears in one of the last scenes, a fierce rain, properly dressed in an elegant raincoat. Wandering through tears through New York looking for the cat with no name, it will eventually find the cat and love.

05. Sweet Home Alabama

We get some rain in the romantic comedy “Sweet Home Alabama”, and we can even say that rain plays a crucial role in the romance between Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas. This is probably why the last scene with the heroine wearing rain, thunder and lightning, which reconcile the two and a gorgeous dress.

04. Great Expectations

The modern version of Dickens’s drama, “Great Expectation” let us to be wear by the passion that leads the heroes’ destinies. Gwyneth Paltrow makes a more interesting heroine than that from the novel, although more sophisticated, more human. The game between her and Ethan Hawke as the fountain kissing scene in the rain are some of the most iconic scenes of love.

03. Pride & Prejudice

One of the most screening books, due to the modernity of the love story, the eternal battle of the sexes, the charm of character from “Pride and Prejudice” is Jane Austen. Screening in 2005, “Pride&Prejudice”, received an excellent director, an original vision of the story and two charismatic actors and wave, Matthew Macfadyen and one of the sexiest actresses of the moment Keira Knightley. Characteristic for the evolution of the ups and downs of love story between the two is the scene in the rain, where they face dramatically and without any reservation.

02. The Bridges of Madison County

I did not think that can ever impress me Clint Eastwood in the role of love. The romance from “The Bridges of Madison County” is special and sensitive in interpretation of Meryl Streep makes the moments of the two to be unique. “It seems right now that all I’ve ever done in my life is making my way here to you”. The end of the movie where she wants to run away with him but she left with the hand clenched on the handle side of the car is full of drama. The scene is seasoned with beautiful music and accompanied by a sultry rain in gusts, which only serves to emphasize the woman’s pain, trapped in her own destiny.

01. Notebook

Behind a great love story is always a great story. “The Notebook” has a lot of love and a beautiful story. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams love eachother against family, wealth and age differences against fate. The pair won the 2005 MTV best kiss of the year with this film. There are many scenes, passionate kisses and statements in the film, but the tense scene kissing in the rain is memorable.
