Top 10 Most Awesome TV Shows

The made us cry or laugh with their characters, they are the most discussed subject in the lunch break at work or when we go out with friends in weekends, because many nights are lost from curiosity to see before all what will happen in the following episodes, we barely broke to many of them and we review whenever we have the opportunity.  I made a top of the most successful top 10 series that have run (it is a good opportunity to remember them) and more of them runs now on the small screen.

10. Rome

A series about friendship, love, power and war in ancient Rome, which will keep you glued to the small screen. Rome guarantees two seasons of suspense in the era of Julius Caesar, and give you a history lesson that you understand how it shape the world. The story focuses on the lives of two Roman soldiers and their families caught in the midst of transition from republic to empire.

09. Six Feet Under

Each day spent in life, is a good day. This is the show’s tagline and the message. A drama in five seasons, though it ended in 2005 continue to fascinate viewers with an original vision, optimistic and full of black humor about life and death. Protagonists: a family with many problems, whose source of income is the funeral firm they own at home. The creator is Alan Ball film, the Oscar-winning screenwriter for American Beauty, and if you liked the movie with Kevin Spacey, will be impossible not to love the characters from Six Feet Under.

08. Grey’s Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy goes on the open road in the ’90s of shows like ER or Chicago Hope, but still brings something new: a different approach (outside the hospital and operating rooms and doctors are… people) and a great sense of humor. Still wants a drama series (much fun) about the lives of five internal and their supervisors at Seattle Grace Hospital.

07. Prison Break

I have a doubt in the composition of this top: I could not say for sure if Lost is more successful than Prison Break, or vice versa! Prison Break Mania was born in 2005, of course, in the United States, but has expanded rapidly and now represents the only serious competition for Lost. The success is due in part to the story (from a political conspiracy, an innocent man is imprisoned and sentenced to death, and his only chance of being saved lies in his brother, who do everything possible to reach in the same prison, hoping to escape with his brother.

06. Lost

I think that isn’t any most anticipated show than Lost, and that on the entire planet level. Although is not a comedy, the adventure series became a huge success right from the first episode. Now has already reached on season 4, and end no hardly glimpsed. For those who have not yet heard of the Lost (do not know if anyone was left uncontaminated by this anger), the shows keep you blown, while revealing the adventures of 48 survivors of a plane crash. Stranded on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the 48 must confront their own weaknesses and countless mysteries and hidden traps that are on the island.

05. Desperate Housewives

It is another series about women, to the dismay and disappointment of many men’s. After the series “Sex and the City”, American writers have shown that they can not get in to the idea, as long as the fair sex muse inspires. So Desperate Houswives appeared, now in its fourth season in the United States, a series about life full of secrets and lies of five neighbors on Wisteria Lane in an American suburb. Everything is “seasoned” about a mysterious suicide of a neighbor. Meet the five ladies that are responsible for the success of a series that sparked hysteria among fans of the sitcom: Susan, Lynette, Bree, Gabrielle and Eddie.

04. Sex and the City

Blondes, redheads, brunettes, writers, lawyers, business women or wives, four women over 30 years talks with nonchalance and gossip about their sex life (or about the lack of it), about the adventures of a night of love and missed trying to find new ways to reinvent the status of women on the end of 90s. The vulgar “fuck” never sounded sexier than the “stories” of four women’s, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. The six seasons of “Sex and the City” series will be continued this year with a big-screen film, Sex and the City: The Movie, which hopefully will have the same success as a television show.

03. Seinfeld

Seinfeld is the man who has said a lot about nothing. Nothing can alter or diminish the caustic humor, as the topics chosen are everyday things, which hit us all. Few have the talent to look at these issues from a perspective so original, funny and (why not?) Even sound like Jerry Seinfeld. Jerry Seinfeld has three close friends: George, a man a liar, eccentric neighbor Kramer and his former girlfriend, Elaine.

02. Friends

We laughed with them, we tried to identify with them, I did kind who bets who will remain to the end and we sad when the show and its characters were colorful and goodbye in 2004. Friends is perhaps the most watched and most successful series of all time, and if you have not seen before, start to buy DVDs with the 10 seasons, because you don’t know what you’re losing.

01. Fringe

Fringe is the fourth TV series created by JJAbrams and the fourth collaboration with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. The FBI agent Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop are facing with an inexplicable phenomenon that threatens to spread very quickly. In an attempt to prevent its spread, they need the help Dr. Walter Bishop, Peter’s father. The drama with sci-fi elements follows the strange happenings that took place in a plane that landed at Boston’s Logan airport, but what happened on board of 627 plane are just the beginning of the story.
